How to Join NESDA

Thanks for your interest in applying for membership in NESDA, the National Electronics Service Dealers Association.

NESDA memberships fall into two categories. Please choose the one that best fits your situation:

  1. CORPORATE. If you are a manufacturer, third party administrator, distributor, service support company, or another company with a direct interest in NESDA or the product service industry, please join NESDA as a Corporate Member. Please visit the NESDA Corporate Membership information page to view/print a membership application. You will find details and information on the benefits available to Corporate Members. Please print and complete the PDF application on that page and fax or mail to NESDA with contact and payment information.

  2. SERVICER. If you are a person or product service company that is engaged in the product service industry and who provides direct service for consumer electronics, computers, or other electronics products, you are eligible for membership in NESDA as a servicer. Monthly dues for a first-time member are $26/month, with additional savings if you pay quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. If you are eligible to join as a servicer, please continue to read down this page for additional information, and complete the information at the bottom to begin the process of joining NESDA as a servicer.

For Servicers ... Apply for a FREE 30-day Trial Servicer Membership in NESDA — includes NESDAnet, NESDA Members Only, TechMate, and the NESDA Spare Parts Database!

First-time servicer members paying one year's dues in advance receive one complementary convention registration for either the current year convention or next year's convention, a value of at least $180. (Please note that this does not include transportation or air fare, hotel stay, or other incidentals for the convention. No credit is given if you are unable to use the convention registration.)

The 30-day free trial is limited to any professional servicer who has not been a member of NESDA in the past 24 months. The trial period includes full use of NESDAnet, NESDA Members Only, TechMate, NESDA Spare Parts plus all the other benefits available to members. A listing in the online NESDA Servicer Locator at www.TVRepairPros.com and a business membership in The Buying Group (TBG) which includes discounts for DHL and Staples, become available after the 30-day trial period has ended. NESDAnet and TechMate are not available to non-members; you must have a current membership in NESDA. (NOTE: A listing in the locator requires that your business have a current Better Business Bureau rating of at least a "B-". Also, all certifications and warranty authorizations will be verified prior to listing in the locator.)

NESDA accepts Visa/MasterCard/Discover for online membership signup.

If you wish to cancel your membership so that your card is not charged at the end of the trial membership, please contact our office at 817/921-9061 ext. 116 or e-mail info@nesda.com.

When you join NESDA through online signup, please be advised that your membership must be processed first by a member of the NESDA staff during regular business hours when the office is open (excludes Saturday/Sunday and recognized holidays). You will receive two e-mail messages confirming your subscription to our e-mail lists, and within a few hours after receiving these messages, you should receive an additional message from our office with your membership information and your password. Please watch for these messages and call us (817/921-9061 ext. 116 or e-mail info@nesda.com if you do not receive them. (You may want to check the BULK or SPAM folder in your email account.) You may elect NOT to receive messages from our lists, and browse the messages online, but no credit is given for the reduced level of membership.

Some e-mail providers mistakenly identify NESDAnet e-mail as spam or bulk and may put messages in your SPAM or BULK folder, or may not deliver the email at all. NESDA has no control over this as each email provider is different.
